The principles
The new MFC detector in the Mag-Flex range offers a host of solutions for detecting soft mobility. It ensures that cycles and scooters are better integrated into the traffic flow, and makes crossroads and all-vehicle urban areas safer.
The detectors, which can be single- or dual-channel depending on the application, react to any metallic presence or variation. They then transmit the command to the management system.
For specific areas such as cycle paths or mixed urban areas, MFC detectors have been designed with a specific detection algorithm and sensitivity adapted to react precisely to the magnetic footprint of a bicycle, scooter or other personal mobility device.
